Jackie Macdonald is a marketing strategist with over 8 years of experience in marketing and communications strategy, social media activations, planning and execution.

Her roots in marketing began at a very young age, with parents who owned an outdoor advertising company, later helping them start a digital sign and taxi advertising business while in university. 

After returning from Germany where she completed a merchandising internship with adidas Originals, Jackie started her career with DDB Edmonton, where she helped execute award-winning behaviour change campaigns focused on traffic safety, waste management and climate change, to name a few. 

Before joining Adverb, she worked at ATB Financial as a marketing manager supporting business, brand and wealth clients. For Jackie, it's all about connecting people with memorable experiences and telling the stories of Albertans doing amazing things. Whether she's leading a social media activation like the IABC Gold Quill award-winning ATB Listens Lounge, launching a bank branch dedicated to supporting Albertan artists, putting on a drag queen bingo half-time show at a virtual conference or telling the stories of incredible local entrepreneurs, she loves using marketing for the greater good. We could all use a little more good in our lives.
