Kian Javier comes to Adverb with a well-rounded experience in the best of both worlds: agency life and working on the client side. 

Kian brings a diverse background in developing digital marketing strategies, account management, and data analytics, paired with his drive in creating impactful digital campaigns. His expertise extends beyond the basics, encompassing website development, media planning and buying, brand development, and communications strategy, making him a versatile and valuable asset to any team.

Before joining Adverb, Kian honed his skills in various roles, contributing to different organizations like Amii (Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute), Berlin Communications, and the University of Alberta. During his time, he played a key role in designing and implementing project management systems, developing awareness campaigns, and telling stories through data insights. 

Kian’s academic foundation is equally impressive, holding a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Alberta. This combination of creative and analytical expertise enables him to approach marketing challenges with a unique perspective, balancing creativity with data-driven decision-making. 

Beyond his professional career, Kian is deeply involved in the Edmonton advertising community. He currently serves as the Communications Chair on the board of the Advertising Club of Edmonton for the second year. Outside of work, Kian is on a mission to track down the city's top restaurants and cocktail bars. When he's not playing food critic, he’s knee-deep in Formula 1, sketching, and pop culture happenings. Not to mention his love for true crime and horror that guarantee zero sleep because who doesn't love a good adrenaline rush paired with thrills and terrors?
