Paige Simpson

Senior Content Specialist

Paige Simpson is a social media strategist and content writer with over 5 years of experience in social media marketing, digital advertising, and influencer management.

After completing her Bachelor's Degree in Communications at MacEwan University, Paige started her career at Calder Bateman Communications and later at ZGM Modern Marketing Partners, where she helped develop and execute award-winning digital campaigns for a diverse range of clients, including the City of Edmonton, Pride Tape, Concordia University, and the Art Gallery of Alberta (just to name a few).

Prior to joining the team at Adverb, Paige worked as a freelance social media strategist and consultant where she provided strategic direction and day-to-day social media management for a wide variety of Alberta-based small businesses, organizations, and projects.

Her work then shifted into the political sphere, where she took the reins as the social media marketing lead for Rhiannon Hoyle during her campaign in the 2021 Edmonton municipal election. Later, her work in social media community building played a pivotal role in helping secure Rhiannon's provincial candidacy for the Alberta NDP in the Edmonton-South constituency.

In 2022, Paige worked with the Edmonton Queer History Project as their marketing lead to highlight the people, places, and moments that have helped shape Edmonton’s 2SLGBTQ+ history. The project gained national attention and was nominated as a finalist for the 2022 Governor General’s History Award for Excellence in Community Programming.

Paige is passionate about working on projects that challenge the status quo, drive social awareness, and bring about positive change — even if it means dancing on TikTok from time to time.
