T'was the first year at Adverb, when all through the room,
The Business Boys stirred and logged in to Zoom;
The post-its were stuck on the whiteboard with care,
Knowing that great ideas soon would be there.

The strategists were nestled all snug at their desks,
Dreaming of content to inspire and impress;
And Tyler in his blue shirt, and Adam in his shacket,
Were building a strategy, a plan to attack it.

Just down the road in lovely Garneau,
Working from home while watching it snow,
Our team member Jackie was getting creative,
And leaving us feeling quite motivated.

A few hours south, in another fine city,
Another Adverbian was feeling quite witty,
As she scrolled through her TikTok, looking for trends,
Maya made content, and made some new friends.

And over the mountains and down by the sea,
Was our team member Erika in Squamish, BC.
Curiously interviewing leaders with missions,
To help them communicate their greater visions.

In the coworking space there arose such a noise
A permanent office and two Business Boys!
Away to the kitchen, they ran with a cheer
to find friends at Homestead, drinking a beer.

The holiday spirit fell around us like snow,
And the community feeling was very much aglow,
In this generous season, we can finally admit.
We might, in fact—maybe—be good at this.

Our first year was filled with such joy and such laughter,
Our hearts full to bursting from our very first chapter,
There are no words to describe how happy we are,
To have you with us on our journey so far.

Each day we can barely contain our glee,
Thinking of how lucky we are to know thee,
With friends like these, Adverb’s future is bright.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD-NIGHT!
